Silhouette – A silhouette is the image of a person, animal, object or scene represented as a solid shape of a single color, usually black, with its edges matching the outline of the subject. The interior of a silhouette is featureless, and the hole is typically presented on a light background, usually white, or none at all.

Champalimaud Foundation it is a unique place where you can keep going to photograph and always leave with different images. I was hoping to find a clear sunset day to play with shadows, but instead I got a cloudy one. The main point of this project is to photograph, so I embrace what is offered to me at the moment and seize the best of it.

I am curious about trying my “new” and inherited Olympus lenses. An Olympus 50mm f/1.8 OM Zuiko and an Olympus (OM) Zuiko 135mm f/3.5. To make it work I get a decent and cheap adapter from K&F Concept. The adapter for the Fuji mount is nice and sturdy on my X-E3. The 50mm renders nice and contrasty colors at f2.8, being rather dull at f1.8. But about that I will write on another post.

The day set to an end after sunset at Tower of Belém, which is one of the architectural jewels of Portugal and it was built as part of the Tagus estuary defence system. Right beside the Tower Of Belém it is a fort built in the 1780’s. Contains Combatant´s Museum, with exhibitions from great war to peace operations.
